Events

To increase the awareness about socio environment issues amongst the schools children/university students /masses we are invited to participate in events organized by schools, universities or communities.

The events are either in the form of Demonstrations on Segregation of waste, Setting of wormy pit, Making of handmade paper , Making of Paper Mache products etc. Street theatre on Why manage waste, Use waste bins, Do not litter, Celebrate environment day etc.

Set up Stalls of Hand made paper products, reused paper products., organic manure, One time barter of waste paper, plastics etc. Almost every year at SPJ we either set up a fair- 'Haat' on eco friendly products, celebrate festivals and / or undertake greening drives. Our Cleaning Brigade work force are the participants in all these events. For street theatre we get our work force trained by professionals and then perform. This helps them improve their self image. This also makes the educated/socially and economically higher ups respect Vatavaran Cleaning Brigades.
